Rt. Rev. Sabino Ocan Odoki, the ordaining Bishop, in his homily challenged the newly ordained to strictly do what Jesus would do and desist from anything that Jesus would not do. He noted that the foundation of the Priestly Ordination is Jesus Christ. "So you should never part ways with Jesus Christ," said the Bishop. He also reminded them of the uniqueness of the powers they would receive through the Sacrament of Holy Orders and exercise that power with love and gentleness.
The Bishop appealed to the parents to be more generous to the Church and to God. “We are only custodians, God gave these children with a purpose and as parents you are to raise them to serve humanity and not stand in between the children and God.”Said the Bishop. He asked the Christians not to be like the Pharisees who witch-hunt for mistakes but to always support those in the priestly ministry.

The Major Superior of the Claretian Missionaries in East Africa, Very Rev. Fr. Joy Joseph Mampillikunnel, CMF, thanked the Bishop for accepting the ordination of Rev. Fr. Hillary Andabati, CMF. Rev.
