Bishop Sabino has reminded the faithful of Nyio Eucharistic Center of the three most important pillars of Lent; that is prayer, almsgiving and fasting that brings spiritual transformation and renewal of their journey to be with God.This was during his pastoral visit to the Eucharistic Center on the 26th of March 2023 . The Bishop urged the faithful to make the best use of the remaining period of lent by praying more, fasting and more almsgiving to the needy.
Drawing from the story of the resurrection of Lazarus, in John 11:1-45, he called the Christians to wholly trust in God to be patient as they wait for God's response, to have great companionship with one another and to always remember that God takes His time yet He never abandons his people. He said, waiting for God's response is a way of learning and preparing for His great gift for us.
