Oluko Parish constructs a new church

Bishop Sabino Ocan Odoki has called upon the Christians of Oluko Parish to mobilize resources at local and national level to continue with the construction of the new church. The church is at the slab level. Bishop Sabino also admonished Christians of Oluko Parish to display utmost respect to the Church Ministers assigned to their parish. This followed an unpleasant incident in which priests were evicted from the parish by some rowdy people in May, 2020. The Bishop noted that he was taken by surprise by the occurrences as he knew Oluko Parish to be a great parish.

The Bishop shared his gratitude to Fr. Romano Dada, MCCJ, who is currently taking care of the Christians for his exemplary leadership. During the Mass, 490 boys and girls were confirmed into the Catholic faith.
