"When we speak about communication, we speak about God who is the first communicator. God has communicated through his creation, he has communicated to us through the prophets from the Old Testament to our time and he has communicated to us in fullness through his son Jesus Christ. This communication in Jesus Christ continues through the work of the Church. This is where Radio Pacis plays a big role, to continue with the communication of God to Humanity. Jesus Christ gave us this mandate, We find this in the Gospel according to Mark Chapter 16 15-16; Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel. This mandate reached us in Northern Uganda through the Comboni Missionaries.”

The Bishop congratulated Radio Pacis for 17 years of evangelisation in the West Nile Region of Uganda. He congratulated the station for its new Frequency 99.7 FM. "This was a very big achievement to realise the mandate that Jesus has given us to go to the world and evangelise. If opportunities are still there, let us open more stations and also venture into other forms of media. I was reading that by Youtube you can reach 4 million people, even facebook. God has allowed this so that we can use it for the right purpose." Said the Bishop.

"From the Gospel according to Luke; which reads: "the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." "The labourers are many, the challenge is how many are willing to carry out this work of evangelization. The ordained, the consecrated, and the baptised many times also fall short of the same problem." He continued
The Bishop expressed his dismay at the lack of evangelisation amongst the many Christian families. He said many times school children seem to be kept off at school and parents hardly find time to evangelise to these children. "I see in kampala many times when I am leaving early in the morning at 5am ,i see children lined up on the Roads waiting to go to school, this is not love. When do the parents get time to evangelize?" He appealed to the Christians to be one of those followers of Jesus who were sent to continue with the work of evangelization. “Today we are all missionaries, our understanding of missionaries must change to include all of us,” said Bishop Sabin
The Chairperson Board of Directors Radio Pacis described the occasion as a dream come true. He said the success of the radio station will greatly depend on how they will handle their customers. Chairman Moyo Subcounty appealed to the sister stations to always have something to learn from each other.
