The Bishop of Arua Diocese, Rt. Rev. Sabino OCan Odoki called upon the parishioners of Kijomoro Parish to take advantage of the priests they have in their parish to receive sacraments. He said this on December 2, 2021, during a ceremony in which he confirmed 169 boys and girls. "Don't stay hungry, the priests are here to give you sacraments, they are to nourish you spiritually, there are some of you like the hornbill. The priests are here but they are still waiting for their marriages to be blessed. Some want to reconcile with God and one another but they are still waiting. So I want to say to you, take advantage of the priests who are here and continue to grow in the grace of God, continue to grow in Holiness, that is the purpose for us the priests, to bring God to you. I thank you for the care you are giving to all the priests and the pastoral agents,” said the Bishop.
The Bishop expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome he received from the Christians of Kijomoro Parish, their Parish Priest Fr. Alfred Acimati and the Curate Fr. Caesar Dralega and the Candidates for Confirmation. He thanked Fr.Alfred for inviting him to preside over the sacrament of Confirmation, Baptism and Matrimony. The Bishop thanked Fr. Caesar Dralega for accepting to serve the people of Kijomoro and asked the Christians to take good care of priests serving in their parish. Bishop Sabino also implored Christians to continue observing the SOP's set by the Ministry of Health to avoid the spread of covid-19 during the festive period.
