The Bishop assured the faithful of Nyadri Parish that more eldely Christians and the sick shall be able to receive the blessed Sacrament at the comfort of their homes now that four new catechists are commissioned. He said the Catechist will help the Parish Priest in administering Holy Communion to believers in remote chapels and the sick who cannot easily reach the Parish on Sundays. It is noted that there are many sick and older people who cannot access the holy Eucharist of the Sunday Celebrations.

Catechists are lay members of the Christians faithful, duly instructed and outstanding in Christian life, who devote themselves to setting forth the teachings of the Gospel and organizing liturgies and works of charity under the direction of a missionary. In the Catholic Church, the primary goal of a catechist is to model God's love to others. A requisite of a catechist is love for God and his children. A catechist initiates others into Catholicism, into its life, its worship, symbols and practices.

One of the catechists said he now has the understanding and the obligation to oversee the sacrament of holy Eucharist .
The Bishop also called upon couples living together to be thankful enough to God for the gift of a partner by celebrating the Sacrament of the Holy Matrimony. He promised the Christians that he will always be available to preside over their marriages in church. In the Catholic Church, marriage, also known as holy matrimony, is the "covenant by which a man and woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life and which is ordered by its nature to the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring", and which "has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament between the baptised."
