Bishop Sabino Celebrates First Sunday of Advent at Egamara Chapel, St.Luke, Offude Parish.

The Bishop of Arua Diocese, Bishop Sabino on Sunday 27th November 2022 celebrated the First Sunday of Advent with the Christians of Egamara Chapel, Offude Parish confirming a total of 363 young boys and girls into the catholic faith, together with the Parish Priest Msgr. Cosmas Alule and the Curate Fr.Benjamin.

While addressing the gathering, he urged the faithful to pray for a miracle through the intercession of Venerable Sartori who awaits beatrification. The Bishop conveyed blessings from the Holy Father Pope Francis through the Apostolic Nuncio to Uganda Archbishop Luigi Bianco to the Christians of Egamara. He thanked the Parish Priest of Offude Parish, Msgr.Alule Cosmas for transforming St.Luke Parish into a model parish in the diocese of Arua.

Ruth Lematia, Maracha East County legislator who was present at the occasion thanked the Bishop for his outreach throughout the diocese of Arua. She appealed to the new confirmands to become like agents of the Christ in their different homes. She asked the Christians to obey and work closely with the Parish Priest who she says has transformed the parish within a very short time to transform Ofudde Parish and all the zones under the Parish.
