"The testimony Mama Roza leaves for us, is how she brought up her children in faith. We have one son who has served this country as a Minister, as a member of parliament and still continues to support the country and the Church. To bring up a child to take responsibility like this, means the parents did a lot to raise the children in this family. Things do not happen by chance. Parents often think that raising a child is to give them enough food. And forget that they are to feed them with good education, faith, good manners and guide them all through their life."
"I always say, I don't like to hear parents say, the children have become bad.. There is no child who is born bad, what they become is from society. So we need to change our society to be a good environment for children to grow to be upright, disciplined, children with faith, children who are obedient. It all depends on the parents. God gives you these children and you are the one to see that they grow upright; so let us see what has not been done that has made the children be what we don't want and begin to do it. It is still possible to put values in them so that we have good leaders coming out of them, good parents coming out of them and good priests, brothers and sisters coming out of them.
I really want to thank mother Munu for putting these values in her children, and her passing, you can see, has been very peaceful. Those who live well when their time to leave this world comes they also leave peacefully. They leave people with good memories and this is what I see here."

"The readings that were given to me, the first one was taken from the book of Wisdom. Where we are told the souls of the just are with God. Our mother Rose Munu, tried her best to be righteous and we believe that she is with God. Immortality is the reward that she is receiving. When we say the souls of the righteous are with God, it means they are now fully in immortal life, it means they are now in that life in the presence of God where there is no more suffering but joy. And her body waits for the day of resurrection and that her body will rise on the day of resurrection. That is why we christians give importance to the body of the deceased. That's why we christians bury the dead and give respect to the places of burial . So the reward of righteousness is immortality." "In the old testament, suffering was seen as divine punishment. This book of wisdom is teaching us something new. The author firms that for the righteous, suffering is not punishment but purification. And suffering is not punishment for the just but opportunity to show fidelity. Where else for the wicked, suffering is truly a punishment. There is a difference there. So when we look at the life of Mother Muna, she might have suffered. When we are in this life we have to work very hard. Sometimes we are misunderstood. And I am sure she was also misunderstood. Sometimes I am sure she saw others doing the least expected thing that could make you suffer. But for all these were opportunities for her to show fidelity. Working without denouncing the faith. Suffering can be a test of our faith. So we have to show our fidelity. " "We must suffer as righteous people. Sometimes in our small suffering , we feel like God has abandoned us. God never abandons. God is always there for us. So we must suffer as righteous people. That is when our suffering will be fruitful but if we suffer for our sin, our suffering will not be fruitful." "Have been given a text that she has loved so much and this was from her own son, Hon.Alex Ozima. which should have been read. I know the beatitudes from Mathew was her way of life but she also had a special text from the Holy Bible which helped her to go through this life. The text is from the Gospel from St.john and it reads, A new commandment I give you, love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciple. This is the commandment that helped Mama Roza as she tried to live a righteous life. "
