Lugbari Celebrates First Anniversary as a Parish.

The community of Lugbari Catholic Parish on 30th April 2021 gathered for Holy Mass to mark the first anniversary of being elevated to the status of a Parish. After 12 year as a Sub-Parish, Lugbari was elevated to a Parish status by Bishop Sabino Ocan Odoki on 30th April, 2020. In the decree that the Bishop gave out on the day, he dedicated Lugbari Parish to Our Lady Mother of Africa. Due to the countrywide lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, the Christians could not celebrate the elevation of Parish solemnly.
