Bishop Sabino Ocan Odoki Celebrates School Day and Confirms Students at St. Mary's Assumpta Girls SS, Pakele
PAKELE, ARUA DIOCESE - -
The Rt. Rev. Sabino Ocan Odoki, Bishop of Arua Diocese, joined the St. Mary's Assumpta
Girls Senior Secondary School community in Pakele for a joyful celebration of the school's School Day on the
Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The celebration brought together students, teachers, school administrators, parents and well-wishers in a
spirit of faith, thanksgiving and fellowship. It provided an opportunity for the school community to celebrate
its Catholic identity and give thanks to God for the continued growth and mission of the institution.
In his message to the confirmands, Bishop Sabino Ocan Odoki encouraged them to remain steadfast in their
faith and to allow the Holy Spirit to guide their lives. He reminded them that Christian formation goes
beyond the classroom, calling on them to become responsible young people who live out the values of faith,
service, discipline and love.
