Pacara, Adjumani  Pacara Chapel was today officially elevated to the status of a Eucharistic Center by the Bishop Ordinary of Arua Diocese, Rt. Rev. Sabino Odoki, during a colorful celebration that also saw 270 young Christians receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

In his message, Bishop Sabino urged the confirmands to take education seriously, describing it as "light" that opens doors to many opportunities in life. He cautioned against school dropouts, which remain high in the West Nile region, and encouraged parents to fully support Universal Primary and Secondary Education. "Without education your choices are few. With education, you can discover your vocation, grow in faith, and serve God and society better," he said.

The Bishop also congratulated Pacara Chapel for its growth, noting its progress over the past two years, and encouraged Christians to support ongoing projects such as the priests' residence and parish office. He further appealed to the community to protect the environment by planting trees.

The celebration was attended by clergy, religious, government leaders, cultural representatives, and Christians from across the region. Bishop Sabino called the elevation of Pacara Chapel a great milestone in strengthening the faith of the people of God in Adjumani.
