Bishop Sabino talks on insufficient childcare by some parents of today, calling for an increased commitment and a collective effort to address the issue.

Bishop Sabino has expressed concern over a prevailing trend where some parents seem to merely give birth without adequately planning for a responsible upbringing of their children

Bishop while addressing a congregation at Yivu Parish where a total of 74 young Christians where confirmed urged parents to actively engage in guiding, properly feeding, and ensuring the education of their children for a well-rounded upbringing.

The Bishop commended the parents and guardians of the 74 confirmees for exemplifying the way of Christ to their children. He encouraged the children to express gratitude by being attentive listeners, assisting with domestic and garden work, and maintaining their commitment to staying in school.

"Parents you are co-workers and co-creaters with God. God works through the parents. And the children are gifts of God to you. Please take good care of children, it will not defeat you. Put your heart into it and you wont get defeated. Lets work hard today to ensure the future of our children is saved.

Giving birth is not difficult but raising children is difficult. Today, care for the children is lacking and not enough. We need to do more for the children. Children now days are not educted, not well fed, not well guided and they are left to find their way on their own." Said the Bishop.
