Arua Diocese with profound sorry announces the untimely demise of Rev.Fr.Denis Isa Iranya.

It is with profound sorrow that Arua Diocese and MIDM (Congregation of the Missionaries of Jesus the Divine Master) announce the sudden passing of Rev. Fr. Denis Isa Iranya.

Fr. Denis Iranya, who served as the Rector of Holy Cross Pilgrim Centre at Indriani, and became the first Parish Priest of Holy Cross Indriani Pilgrim Centre Catholic Mission in Adjumani district, peacefully departed on January 11th at Pioneer Hospital, where he was rushed for medical attention after collapsing during a Diocesan Parish Priests meeting at Christus Centre in Ediofe Cathedral, Arua city.

The burial of late Fr. Denis will be held at the Generalate of the Missionaries of Jesus the Divine Master in Euata, Onzivu ward, Euata cell, on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. The requiem mass is scheduled to commence at 11:00 am.
