This was during the Holy Sacrament of Confirmation where a total of 144 young Christians were confirmed into the catholic faith at St.Mathew Catholic church Dufile in Moyo, Arua Diocese.
Addressing the congregation, Bishop Sabino reflected on the historical significance of Dufile as a route where the first Catholic missionaries first entered Uganda. He urged residents to cherish this legacy and proposed the establishment of a memorial site commemorating the missionaries' passage while emphasizing the role of history in nurturing faith among st the people of God.
In his Homily, Bishop Sabino underscored the importance of being guided by the spirit of God, emphasizing gratitude as a key virtue that leads to blessings. He urged the congregation to maintain a spirit of thanksgiving both during and after the Mass in their homes
The Bishop appealed to the government authorities to improvise a more feasible solution to the transport need at the ferry site to ease with evangelization and transportation of goods and sevices across the region
He thanked the Christians for their overwhelming presence and encouraged them to continue wearing the positive energy while serving God and fellow men in their respective capacities.
