"Confirmation is a permanent mark that you are for Christ. And later on in life you cannot change, because God has claimed you as his own. Just as you cannot change your parents and family. So I encourage you to take this day very seriously. Try to speak to God. Say God, today I am confirmed. What would you like me to do? Speak like you are starting a new journey. What would you like me to spend the rest of my life doing. Pray that you have a vocation. A vocation that will help you to continue serving in society today. Ask God. Are you calling me to be a priest? Are you calling me to be a sister? Are you calling me to be a brother? Are you calling me to be a catechist? Are you calling me in the medical profession? All other forms of vocation are for the good of the society. Even a vocation to be a farmer. Sometimes people think that farming is not a good vocation. If we don't grow food, shall we be alive?" Said the Bishop.

"As a confirmed Christian, you are now entitled to do the work of Christ, represent Christ, and contribute to the church's mission. The Holy Spirit, that you will receive today during confirmation, will be your guide in carrying out God's will." emphasized Bishop Sabino.
