Bishop Sabino Ocan Odoki has commended Koboko Parish for its strong community spirit and unity, evident in its activities, growth, and development. He noted that the parish places a significant emphasis on celebrating family life, stating, "This is what the Church should be, to celebrate the family. There is much to learn from Koboko and much to be proud of."

These remarks were made during a Eucharistic celebration where the Bishop confirmed 380 young Christians and officiated the matrimonial vows of 12 couples. Bishop emphasized the inseparable bond between God's love and love for one another, stating, "The love of God cannot be separated from the love of one another." In his homily, the bishop Sabino highlighted the essence of family life, rooted in simplicity and genuine love. He cautioned against superficial love and urged Christians to demonstrate their love for God by loving their neighbors. "If you truly love God, show it by simply loving your neighbor," he advised. While addressing the newly wedded couples, Bishop Sabino emphasized their unique opportunity to manifest God's love in their marriages.

He recounted the story of a man who prayed fervently but neglected his wife, highlighting that true spirituality is lived through love. Citing St. Paul, he reminded the congregation that the highest spiritual value is love-both for God and for one another. He encouraged Christians to recognize and utilize their God-given gifts rather than comparing themselves to others. To the newly confirmed candidates, Bishop Sabino emphasized their mission as anointed followers of Christ, charged with bringing peace and assurance of God's love.
