Enormous numbers of Christians thronged Oriajini Parish to celebrate the third Sunday of Easter Mass Rt. Rev. Sabino Ocan Odoki, Bishop of Arua Diocese on April 15, 2018.

During Mass, the Bishop confirmed 95 youths from the Oriajini Parish. He called upon the Christians to embrace unity, love and hard work so as to develop socially, economically and spiritually. The Bishop said although Oriajini has newly been created, it is a Parish that God has chosen to show His Love and Grace to the Christians.

He urged parents to be good role models to their children by raising them in the right ways to serve God in the future. He also encouraged the Christians to help their children to embrace vocation to Priesthood and Religious Life.

The Chairman Organizing Committee for the confirmation at Oriajini Parish Mr. Joseph Alia appreciated the Bishop for gracing the function. He appealed to parents to send their children to school in order to get good education.

The Parish priest of Oriajini Parish Fr. Saulo Bileo Amaza warned the parents against letting the newly confirmed children slide into bad practices.

The New Zone Leader of Oriajini Parish, Mr. David Edokibo expressed his gratitude to the Bishop for creating Oriajini parish. He said that the faith of Christians is gradually increasing ever since the erection of the Parish.

There are plans to start the construction of a parish hall at Oriajini Parish that the Bishop has pledged to support. End
